Our toddler room at Young Miracles Montessori & Childcare in Brampton can accommodate up to 15 children. With a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:5, each teacher is responsible for just five children, ensuring individualized attention. We understand that toddlers are naturally curious and love to explore their environment. Our toddler room is designed to provide endless opportunities for exploration and discovery.
All furniture and toys are age-appropriate and arranged at children’s level to encourage independence and hands-on learning. Our learning team rotates weekly, allowing children to engage in a variety of activities and experiences that foster continuous learning and growth. This dynamic approach keeps children actively engaged and excited to learn.
We focus on six key developmental areas: Art & Craft/Creativity, Language and Literature, Math, Manipulatives, Science, Sensory Play, Dramatic Play, and Music and Movement. Additionally, we incorporate Practical Life, Math, Language, and Culture into our curriculum to offer a well-rounded educational experience.
The room is divided into different learning zones, such as the Dramatic Play Area, Library, Blocks, and Science and Math Areas. Learning materials and equipment are rotated regularly to maintain children’s interest and curiosity.
Parents can easily track their child’s progress through our curriculum boards displayed outside the classroom. These boards outline the current learning topics and activities, allowing parents to build upon their child’s learning in real-time.
