Yes, we offer a comprehensive summer program designed to keep children engaged, learning, and having fun throughout the season. Our summer activities include a variety of educational and recreational opportunities tailored to suit different age groups and interests.

Our fees vary based on age and the selected program. To access fee details, please contact our Centre Directors, inquire online, or call the center.

We accommodate half-day schedules, but we recommend full-day attendance to keep the child in the flow and ensure they can participate in the afternoon activities.

Childcare

No, it is not required for your child to be toilet trained before attending our center. We understand that each child progresses at their own pace, and we provide support and assistance throughout the toilet training process. Our staff is experienced in helping children with their individual needs to ensure a smooth transition.

Yes, your child will have naptime while in our care. We provide a quiet, comfortable environment with individual mats for each child to ensure a restful sleep. Our staff closely monitors naptime to ensure that all children are safe and comfortable.

If you have any specific requests or concerns about your child’s naptime, please let us know.

At Young Miracles Montessori & Childcare, we practice passive discipline. This means that no staff member is ever permitted to use physical force to discipline a child. Instead, we teach children the difference between right and wrong by demonstrating the positive and negative effects of their actions. We do not use time-outs; instead, we collaborate with families to find alternative methods to reinforce positive behavior. For more details, please contact our Centre Director.

We do not provide transportation at this time. However, we offer before and after care for children up to 6 years of age, with yellow bus drop-off and pick-up provided through the school.

Nutrition

At Young Miracles Montessori and Daycare, nutrition is a cornerstone value. We prioritize offering healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals to support children’s growth and well-being.

Our meals are catered by Princess Pea Catering, known for providing fresh, wholesome, and flavorful dishes. We offer a diverse menu inspired by various cultures, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and catering to different tastes. Additionally, families have the opportunity to collaborate on menu ideas, allowing us to create personalized options that meet the unique dietary needs of the children.

Yes, we do not use nuts in our meal preparation, nor do we allow children to bring snacks containing nuts into our center. This includes all tree nuts as well.

Yes, we can. We will work within our menu and nutritional guidelines to create an alternative meal plan, ensuring your child can still eat healthy while at our centre.

Staff

Certainly. All our staff meet at least the minimum requirements mandated by the respective provincial governments to work in our centers. Many of our early educators have also received additional training and are certified by educational institutions such as universities or colleges.

All our staff undergo comprehensive training in first aid and CPR to ensure the utmost safety and care for your children.

Financial Aid

While we currently do not have a regional fee subsidy in place, we are actively collaborating with the region to establish an agreement that will allow us to offer this benefit in the future.
In the meantime, we are pleased to provide in-house discounts as part of our commitment to making quality and affordable childcare accessible to all families.
